Pictures from Lunch Breaks and Walks

Ten days.  I’ve cut out the twenty thousand words and finished all the essays. But, I don’t think I am any closer to a book.  It sure can be frustrating. However, I am ahead of schedule on one thing: I mailed off my income tax information to Chris Morris, CPA today! Yay, that’s done.

I got a note from blogger friend Carol Ferenc saying she had not been getting my blog update notices.  Uh oh.  Maybe I should post some pictures.  I was surprised to see that I had not downloaded pictures from the camera since January 31.  Gosh I have been absorbed in the work. We have been taking the walking breaks every few hours and attempting to cover four miles per day.  Since I always wear my camera, I had quite a few pictures.  I’m not going to say much about them though because it is almost bedtime.

We met for lunch at Fiesta Key RV park on Long Key before our Concert Association meeting.  We ate in this tiki.

We were taking our regular one-mile walk when neighbors Bill and Dawn stopped thier car by us and yelled, “Happy Pączki Day!” So, even though we were exercising, we are not ones to turn down a jelly doughnut.

A few minutes later, we caught up with Bill and Dawn.  She had gone inside to see her mother and Bill was waiting in the car.  He saw us walking up behind him licking our fingers and held some napkins out the window.

Thanks for those wonderful photos, If only we could travel there are so many lovely places to see. However there is much beauty here in Cleethorpes – if you want to see it. We do and as the weather improves (we hope) we will appreciate it even more. Keep posting those lovely shots.

I think there is something beautiful, or at least interesting, just about everywhere. That’s why I try to keep my camera with me. I glad you enjoy the pictures.

Your pictures are a little taste of heaven. I’m live near Washington, DC, and we have just survived snow-zilla (about 2-1/2 feet of the freezing, now blackened white stuff). This weekend we have an Arctic Blast blowing through–temps in the teens with a wind chill in single digits. I’ll not be leaving the house. I’ll snuggle up with your warm, beautiful pics.

We used to live and work in the DC area and still pay attention to the weather there because we have family there(Rockville, Annapolis, Prince Frederick, MD and Vienna, VA). It has been brutal for you. All the talk here today was about our jaw-dropping 47 degrees this morning, but it warmed up into the mid 60s by afternoon. You’ve reminded me of the dirty snow; that made winter so depressing. I’m glad my pictures can spread a little sunshine your way!

We live in Silver Spring, MD. I’m sure you know where that is, so close to Rockville. I have family in Reston and Dale City,VA, as well. Expecting snow and ice tonight. Enjoy the sunshine!

Oh yes, growing up there, I know where all those places are. But, I’d rather be here in the keys right now.

Yes, I am familiar with all those places, but I’d rather be in the keys right now.

D, Love your photography. It brings the summer right to my doorstep. If you get a minute would you consider posting this to the Senior Salon for others to enjoy?

What beautiful photos, Dinata! I envy your lunch time and exercise routines. And I’m seriously thinking about adding jelly doughnuts to MY exercise routine.

Funny, the more we walk, the easier it gets for me. I think that breaking it down into shorter, one-mile walks is the key.

I have a story there. One day we were going to see a film at the library; I decided I didn’t need my camera for that. We stopped in Home Depot and when we got to the cash registers at front of the store, no one was there. I mean not a soul was in the front of the store. We walked outside to see a huge waterspout passing by. Everyone was take videos with their phones, but I didn’t have my camera. At that moment I vowed to take it with me wherever I go, even the ladies room. (Actually, I have taken some pictures of interesting art and mirrors in ladies rooms.)

Walking is our exercise program. We try to get four miles a day, but get in plenty of 5-mile days, and 3-mile days too. I worked up to it slowly. Very slowly. The keys are a great place to walk.

Beautiful pictures Dinata. I love this kind of adventures and especially in beautiful Florida. I love the Sea Grape Leaves, they are absolutely beautiful, would do well to have some for my flower arrangements, but never mind haha! I had a good read. Than you for the beautiful pictures
