We did not take the motorhome to the annual Camp Chappy this year since I could not drive so soon after my shoulder surgery. Our group of RV friends meet on this undeveloped property on the Atlantic Ocean, near the Seven-Mile Bridge. I came across this video taken from a drone last year. Our motorhome, Sao, is the gray one on the far right. Andy and I were out walking on the Old Seven Mile Bridge when the video was taken and missed the excitement.
We did drive the car and spend several hours with the gang every day, usually until my nap or drug time. It is always such a great, relaxing three days of eating, drinking, and generally doing nothing at all but visiting with our friends. I’m looking forward to next year.
Sounds pretty interesting!

Glad to hear you’re behaving yourself and resting up after your surgery, while still enjoying your memories and your time in the beautiful weather.

Thank you. I did behave and I also did my exercises, so I’m feeling much better now.

We will have winter (for us anyway) when we get back to the Smoky Mountains in May. Last year we were sweltering here in the keys and then got to the mountains and started wearing winter clothes. We even heard reports of snow at the higher elevations several times. I’b bracing myself for that this year.

The weather is doing some really crazy things. I hope the drastic changes in humidity doesn’t aggravate your shoulder.

I had not thought about that. I’ll be sure to include some whining about it in the daily updates if it does.

It was beautiful here in Maryland last week. This week chilly and rainy. The heat had to be true back on for overnight! We’re going to Delaware to the beach for a week. This redhead probably won’t have to worry about the sun, but I’ll take my hat anyway. I can use it to keep the cold rain off. Ah, spring … so temperamental.

The beach can be so great for walking in the cool weather. And, the Delaware beaches are so much longer that what we have in the keys.

Yes, we walked around Bethany today. It was chilly and windy, but the ocean was so beautiful. Supposed to rain tomorrow, but the rest of the week 70-75 degrees and smooth sailing!

I love the beaches with some surf. We have none in the keys.
