We had to drive up to Homestead today to buy a new tire for the motorhome. (More on that later.) It is almost 80 miles from Marathon to the Goodyear Store in Homestead.  We saw a steady line of cars heading south the whole way there.  I mean an 80-mile line of cars, not exactly bumper to bumper, with a little space between them.  Not much space between them though; they were anxious to get to the keys.  We got the tire, had lunch, and then headed back to Marathon and joined the continuing parade heading south.  I don’t know how everyone could find a parking space.
