I have been so overwhelmed with Big Creek: A Closer Look at a National Park that I have been slacking off with my picture taking. But, I have a few.
We have taken a few walks. Around the Alliance Coach property: I love this Live Oak, but it is hard to get a real nice picture of it in front of a warehouse building. It is huge and best appreciated in real life.

And we always get a walk around Lake Okahumpka Park, just a mile or so from the RV shop.
My picture of the lake was directly into the sun and it washed out all the color. I like it anyway.

As near as I can determine, this is Burford Holly. I got tired of looking for it and gave up so it might be something else entirely.

The trees in the park have grown up in the forest, so they are not as wide and elegant as the ones you see in the pastures and fields in northern Florida. But, the still have plenty of Spanish Moss hanging from them.

About sunset, the bugs started annoying us so we headed to the car. I snapped a quick sunset with my right hand while swatting gnats with my left.
I forgot to mention my birthday present. We were in the farm store the other day and I saw the cowgirl belts hanging on a rack. This one caught my eye. Andy said, “get it for you birthday” and I followed his advice. At the register, I asked the girl if it would fit easily through the belt loops of my jeans. She answered that she also bought that belt and it does fit pretty well. You just have to be careful not to pull hard if it gets hung up. Then she added.
“It’s a lot of bling for the buck!”

It is really hard to take a picture in the mirror. And, I see I really need to get that pedometer out of my pocket.
The Olive Garden restaurant offers a free meal to veterans every year and Andy loves to eat there. Who can pass on a free meal? Here he is anxiously awaiting his food.

He really perked up when the waitress set the plate in front of him.

We don’t usually, but since it was a special occasion, we got dessert. I had to take a picture of it from the menu.

Because this is what ours looked like by the time I thought to take a picture.
I see I missed a crumb.
