The toe has had a milestone today. Since Dr. Toomey prescribed another round of antibiotics last week, the wound had made remarkable progress. This morning Dr. Torregrosa declared it completely healed. Any remaining red, he red is just scar. I just finished the last of the antibiotics yesterday, so I’ll see how it goes for another day or two, just to make sure the infection doesn’t return again. Now I can start walking again! And, even better, I can post about something other than my toe.
