It is finally done and I am pleased with it. What do you think? Zoom with your browser to read the print. I couldn’t make the image larger, for some reason.

Thank you. I hope people like what is inside too. At this point, for me, it is the dumbest, most boring book I’ve ever read.

Oh, I’m sure it’s not. I love visiting national parks.

As THE BOOK is getting closer to reality, I am fearful that people will not like it. They’ll think I am a terrible writer since I did not clean up my nightly journal too much. They’ll think it is boring. It must be something like pre-wedding jitters, which I never had.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. There is a niche market for everything. I’m sure it will sell many copies.

You know, that’s what I tell myself. I have read a number of best sellers where the writing misses the literature mark by a long shot. And, even if it is not scholarship or literature, the subject matter is of interest to many people. I only need enough sales to cover my cost of getting it published!

Uh-oh, there’s a typo on the back cover. They refer to the RV as “Schoastic” vice “Stochastic.”

Thank you. I had a very simple cover in mind, but now am really happy with the photos capturing a bit of the scenery mentioned in the book.

It’s not great literature, by any measure, however, I do think I manage to show some of what goes on in the national park that most of us are not aware of.

I think it does a pretty good job of capturing the Big Creek picnic area, where most people go. I wonder if we should have included a shot of the water rushing down the mountain, but don’t want to change it now. The fence plays a part in the book.

Thank you Carol. Although we did find two errors on the back cover text. Fortunately, it’s not too late to fix them. I like the cover overall.

Is that the correct name/spelling of the RV name: Schoastic (somehow that’s not ringing a bell with my Half-Timer’s Diseased brain.

No- another typo. Andy caught it. It should be Stochastic. Thanks for pointing it out though, we could have missed it. When are you getting to Marathon?

The cover is great, Dinata, and the background images of the Park are perfect. The cover sets the tone of what’s inside. That you’re feeling nervous now that publication draws near, is very understandable. Your book has been your own, personal ‘baby’ for so long and you’ve become very attached to it. It’s never a nice thought that others may find faults with it or make criticisms that seem unfair. It’s also common to start doubting yourself as an author. You were right in the comment above to compare your feelings to pre-wedding jitters.
I’m really looking forward to reading your book and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from it.
