    I just finished your book, “Big Creek”. It is one of the best, most entertaining books on the Park that I’ve ever read. Sue Meyer gave it to me for my birthday and told me you were their neighbors in FL. I was thrilled to see their names in the book. My grandkids are coming next week and I would love to bring them over to meet you and go swimming. Could you please let me know if there is one day better than others for this experience? They arrive on 6/27 and are leaving 7/5…we definately don’t want to be there over the 4th holiday.!! I would love to meet Spence, Heath and Boss Larry but that may be asking a lot. If this doesn’t work out that’s ok, we’ll meet later in the summer, count on it. I’m anxious to look at the pictures website. See you soon. Gweneeth Conklin, Hot Springs, NC

      We’ll miss you in Big Creek, but be sure to say hello to Spence. His days off are Thurs and Fri. We’ll probably get there some time the week of July 10 and stay for about a week. We’ll make a trip to Hot Springs. perhaps we can “do lunch”.
