We have been following this horrifying event. A sad time to live in the “land of the free.”
I have not posted anything political on my blog, but I may have to speak up against the hatred and racism.

I avoid political discussions. From what I have seen, they are usually not rational or civil. But, hate mongering is not political; it is just wrong and against everything most of us have been taught by our parents, our schools, our churches (no matter what religion), and our experience.

Thank you for reminding me that hate is not political.

Seeing those marchers with torches chanting their hateful slogans and giving the “Heil Hitler” gesture reminded of nothing else but Germany before WWII. That is scary even today in a country where I thought something like that would never happen. Our fathers and grandfathers gave their lives to stop the hatred and murder back then.
