Lignum Vitae

Dinata Misovec

These are Lignum Vitae (ironwood, tree-of-life) blossoms. They are about as big, maybe just a wee bit bigger than apple blossoms. It is beautiful when a tree has a lot of blossoms.  This tree is in Oceanfront Park, behind City Hall, where we often take walks.

      We also have Plumbago which is also a beautiful shade of blue.

      Yes it is. And, when the tree is covered with the blossoms, it is spectacular. We also have plumbago, which is also a great blue color.

    you know all the good spots. by contrast, we never knew there was a park behind city hall. duh! wonderful photo BTW.
