Here is where we are parked during our visit with Christopher and Cordelia.
Cordelia’s mother lives in a house on the mountain where Cordelia grew up. Today we rode up there with Christopher. He was planning on doing some yard work for his Other Mother. I walked around to admire some of the many flowers growing around the house.
These two goats heard us and poked their heads out of the shed to see what was going on.
Before he began his weed whacking project, Christopher assembled a shady spot for the old people to sit near the garden.
The roof is camouflage material he bought at the military surplus store. Not too classy but it did provide just the right amount of shade for the three of us to sit and chat while Christopher worked.
These roses are growing at the road by the mailbox. I think redwoods make a nice background for them
Christopher and I made shrimp and grits for dinner. Here, we were putting the finishing touches on the dishes before serving.
We posed with our creations before setting them on the table. Cordelia took the photos.
More beautiful flowers! Looks like you are having a great time! Your son looks just like you!

I wish he didn’t keep his hair so short. I tell him he looks like a skinhead.
